Hong'en Temple Park is a forest park with osmanthus as its theme. There are many kinds of flowers in the park, especially osmanthus, and tourists can enjoy the scenery and engage in recreational activities. In addition, there are Hong'en Pavilion, Jiangbei Library, Hong'en Square and Golden Osmanthus Fragrance (Osmanthus Theme Scenic Area) in the park, which attract a large number of tourists.

Hong'enfang

Hong'enfang(Hong'en Square) is located in the entrance area outside the park, mainly serving as a supporting service area for catering, entertainment and leisure. Its design combines traditional architectural styles with modern service functions, which makes Hong'enfang an important place for tourists to appreciate the natural beauty and enjoy the cultural atmosphere while providing convenience.

When you enter Hong'en Temple Park, you can see a building with the characteristics of the Ming and Qing dynasties - Hong'en Pavilion. It was designed by the famous antique architecture designer Du Shunbao. It is the tallest viewing platform in the main urban area of Chongqing. You can stand here and overlook the beautiful scenery of Chongqing.

The scenery of Hong'en Pavilion is magnificent during the day. No matter which angle you look at it from, it presents a unique view, which is very suitable for artistic sketching and creation. At night, Hong'en Pavilion will be lit up, and the whole pavilion will become very majestic. Of course, the beautiful scenery can only be experienced in person.

Jiangbei Library

Jiangbei Library is the first forest library built in a scenic area in Chongqing. It has set up several free-access areas, such as the newspaper and periodical reading area, the children's reading area, the visually-impaired reading area. If you're tired from strolling in the scenic area, you can go to the library to take a break, read the freely provided books and enjoy a rich cultural and leisure experience.

When you arrive at the "Golden Osmanthus Fragrance" area, you can smell the rich and sweet fragrance of osmanthus flowers. This is a scenic area dedicated to showcasing osmanthus culture. A large number of osmanthus trees, with a wide variety of species including six major categories such as golden osmanthus, silver osmanthus, orange osmanthus and four-season osmanthus and more than 60 varieties in total, are planted here. In addition, there is a huge osmanthus tree in this area of the park with a diameter of 1.06 meters. It is called the "Matchmaker Osmanthus Tree". Just like the matchmaker in Chinese mythology, this tree is believed to bring good luck in love to people, and it symbolizes the beauty and blessings of love.
