Tianhetan Holiday Resort

The resort is at a scenic spot with typical karst natural scenery and historical celebrity and hermit culture. The scenic spot has U-turn valleys and steep landforms. Tourists can appreciate both the rich geographic setting and cultural matter. There are holes in the mountains, there is water in the caves, and there are echoes between the mountains. Pools and waterfalls are scattered all over. They say that this resort is the bonsai that represents the Guizhou landscape, and it is praised by a renowned politician, Gu Mu, as a top scene in Guizhou.

Highlights of the Resort

Tianhetan Scenic Area always enjoys rich forestation and clear waters. A poet once lived here and left behind many poems. There may well be rich water resources here, but for much of the time in the past, the local people suffered from floods. When the warming conch was blown, everyone would be extremely scared. The floods flowed everywhere and their world broke down into a nightmare. After that, everyone would cry their hearts out. But that was the old and fearful story. In 1990, water conservancy improvements commenced here.
In Guiyang city, the courtyard culture and the mansions are fully restored. Guiyang Story Street provides the simplest and the most primitive way of life in Guiyang. It mainly provides specialties and snacks in Guizhou. The Grand Cross, the Fountain (Bronze Statue), Jinqiao Hotel, and Mao’s Mansion are all landmarks.

Sun Plaza

A ceremonial style entrance plaza highlights the national culture and the architectural style. The ground is designed as xiangyun pattern (the clouds symbolizing good luck). Four beacons decorated with the four natural elements – wind, fire, water and earth – mean that people and nature live in harmony.

Waterfront Recreation Area

The waterfront recreation area is of course built on the waterfront. It integrates functions of business, leisure, entertainment and accommodation. It is the best place to watch the water show, which is the core part of the project. The Area has introduced branded coffee, large Chinese and western food restaurants, leisure book bars, boutique inns, etc. The total area of the street is 2,461 square meters, and the building area is 6,344 square meters. There are 5 houses covering an area of 8,500 square meters.

Water Show

Sound, light, electricity and other high-tech means are used to bring forward the motion of the water. Various patterns are formed following the rhythm of the music. People can see the brilliant motion design. The holographic projection technology is used for water ballet and, folk song, and dance. Tourists can enjoy the scenes in the daytime and appreciate the performance in the evening.
