Today you are going to explore the must-see ones for your first time to Beijing. The Tiananmen Rostrum located in Tiananmen Square is stately and majestic. It is also the front gate of the Imperial City. To the north, there is the Forbidden City which was the royal palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties in China and is reputed to be the top one of the five great palaces in the world. Finally, you will climb on the Mutianyu Great Wall to finish this day.

Full itinerary for One Day Tour of Beijing Essence
Your guide will call your hotel between 7pm and 9pm to confirm your stay and pickup time for the next morning, usually leaving a message with hotel staff to deliver.
The guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby and take you to tour Beijing.
Tiananmen is located on the traditional central axis of the city of Beijing and consists of a rostrum and a city gate tower. It looks grand and majestic. In front of the gate, you can see ancient Chinese traditional architectural forms: the Gold Water Bridge and the Ornamental Column.
You will head to the north and reach the Forbidden City. In the two hour tour, you will visit the main buildings of the Outer Court and the Inner Court, on the central axis. Entering from the Meridian Gate, you will go through Gate of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Supreme Harmony, "Treasures from the Qing Palace", Hall of Central Harmony, Hall of Preserving Harmony, Gate of Heavenly Purity, Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Union, Palace of Earthly Tranquility, and Imperial Garden. And then exit from Gate of Divine Prowess.
We will drive you to Mutianyu Great Wall. Lunch will be served on the way.
On arrival at Mutianyu Great Wall, you will take a cable car up to No.14 signal fire turret, which is half way to the top. You can continue to hike up to No. 20 tower and enjoy the magnificent view. Unlike the other sections of the Great Wall, Mutianyu has crenels on the both sides of the wall. The return cable car is also included. We will transfer you back to your hotel after that.
