Today’s highlight is taking a cruise ship along the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo. This has been recorded in the movie "The Painted Veil" and on the 20 Yuan Chinese banknote, and the Li River is well known at home and abroad. You will place yourself in a Chinese painting with the crystal water and limestone hills when cruising on the Li River. Every bend of the river opens up an amazing chapter of a picture book.

You will disembark at the pier at around 13:00. Walk through West Street where you can find typical Chinese souvenir shops and night bars. Have a cup of cold beer before exploring Yangshuo countryside by bike. You can easily visit a local family and talk to the local residents, understanding their life experience. Drive back to Guilin (1.5 hrs) after that.

After breakfast, you will visit the city’s landmark – Elephant Trunk Hill. The limestone hill looks like a huge elephant with its trunk dipped in the Li River, hence the name. Reed Flute Cave is a typical limestone cave in Guilin. The stalagmites and stalactites have formed in amazing shapes over millions of years, now illuminated in different colors. Finally, you will pay a visit Lujia Village to see the modern village of Guilin.
