There is an old saying in China that no mountains can compare to the Five Great Mountains while the Yellow Mountains is way beyond them. Listed in the World Heritage – Mixed Property explains how important it is. There are rich plant and animal resources in the mountains, and you can take a deep breath of the negative oxygen ions in the air. This mountain features the unique scenic qualities of the fantastic pines, the grotesque rocks, the sea of clouds, the hot springs and the winter snow. You will be immersed in its beauty.

Your tour guide will call you via your hotel reception on the night before your tour to confirm the exact pick up time on the next day. If you are not available at that moment, the guide will leave a message for you at your reception.
Your guide will be waiting for you at your hotel lobby at the appointed time. We will drive you to Huangshan Scenic Area for around one hour.
On your arrival at the Huangshan Scenic Area transfer center, you will take the shuttle bus to the Yungu cable station. It takes around 15 minutes by cable car to get to the middle of the mountain.

After you get off at the White Goose Ridge Stop, you will hike to visit the White Goose Peak, the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, and Black Tiger Pine, with dark green leaves along the way. So many people have heard stories about how fabulous Mount Huangshan is, which may be considered to be exaggerated. When you really witness the landscape that looks like a painting consisting of fantastic pines, the grotesque rocks and cliffs on the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, you will start to believe what you have heard before.
There are lots of stairs up and down. Please get protection for your knees.

Enjoy lunch on the mountain. (Lunch is at your own expense. You can bring your own sandwiches or try out the hotel buffet at RMB 140 per person.)
Continue to hike up to the Lion Peak, you can see the pines there in a shape of a fan and the mythical creature, Kylin. Go all the way down, and you will pass by A Monkey Gaping at the Sea, Pen Rack Peak, and the Flower Grown out of A Writing Brush Rock.
"The sea" which "the monkey gapes at" refers to the sea of clouds. It really depends on the weather to see this marvelous spectacle.

You will return to the White Goose Ridge Stop and take the cable car down. We will take you back to your hotel.
