The renowned Jinjiang Theatre was formerly the Yuelai Teahouse, which was built in 1908. In 1954, the "Jinjiang Theatre" with a distinct Western Sichuan architectural style was built on the original site of the Yuelai Teahouse, and later evolved into the "Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Center". The center includes the Yuelai Teahouse, the Sichuan Opera Art Museum, and a large-scale modern theater, and it is an activity center for Sichuan Opera enthusiasts. With the introduction of gorgeous laser-changing effects and a comprehensive upgrade of stage lighting, it gives you a different audio-visual experience, and there is also a surprise of one person changing 36 faces.
