Furong Guocui | Sichuan Provincial Sichuan Opera Theater

Since 2005, Furong Guocui has performed nearly ten thousand shows for domestic and foreign tourists, and every show has been packed. In order to bring a better audio-visual experience to guests, Furong Guocui was completely upgraded in 2021. With more professional performance equipment, richer plot content, and a more immersive viewing and listening experience, it presents a wonderful Sichuan Opera face-changing show in the "Sichuan Provincial Sichuan Opera Theater" for tourists from all over the world. Furong Guocui integrates the essence of Sichuan Opera. Shu Feng Ya Yun

Shu Feng Ya Yun was founded in 1998. Based in the Land of Abundance, it has a classic quadrangle courtyard layout. The theater showcases authentic Western Sichuan folk unique skills and classic operas to both domestic and foreign audiences in an all-round way. It is a comprehensive theater in Sichuan that integrates Chinese traditional art performances, folk-characteristic acrobatic performances, and operas. Shu Feng Ya Yun is currently the only remaining classical pear garden in Sichuan with a century-old history. It is very close to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and Wuhou Shrine. In one night, you can experience the thousand-year-old Western Sichuan civilization. The content of the performance in Shu Feng Ya Yun is rich. A single performance includes: Sichuan Opera face-changing, shadow puppetry, hand shadow, traditional acrobatics, Sichuan Opera excerpts, and a competition of various traditional Chinese performing arts. The content is quite rich, and each viewing time is about 1.5 hours, so you won't feel bored. Liyuan Guild Hall

Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Center

The renowned Jinjiang Theatre was formerly the Yuelai Teahouse, which was built in 1908. In 1954, the "Jinjiang Theatre" with a distinct Western Sichuan architectural style was built on the original site of the Yuelai Teahouse, and later evolved into the "Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Center". The center includes the Yuelai Teahouse, the Sichuan Opera Art Museum, and a large-scale modern theater, and it is an activity center for Sichuan Opera enthusiasts. With the introduction of gorgeous laser-changing effects and a comprehensive upgrade of stage lighting, it gives you a different audio-visual experience, and there is also a surprise of one person changing 36 faces. Different from ordinary modern small theaters, it retains the classic and simple layout of the "Wannian Stage" of the Yuelai Teahouse before, with about 300 seats. Here, the audience in the main hall can drink tea and enjoy the opera while sitting at the antique tables, chairs, and coffee tables. The renovated Chengdu Sichuan Opera Art Center is not limited to indoor performances.
