But due to the height of buildings having been limited by the city government, there are not too many views from most of the hotel rooms.

Alila Yangshuo has been designed in an industrial style. The place was a sugar mill in 1960s. They didn't break down the old sugar mill's buildings, but renovated and redecorated the inside into a restaurant, library, gallery and hotel lobby. The hotel has regular standard rooms and villas, which are modern style with luxury decorations. Alila Yangshuo is located in between Yangshuo County and Fuli Town (20mins drive to Yangshuo).

Ping An Hotel is located right at the center of Ping'an Village in Longji Terraces Scenic Area. There are 63 rooms in total, including 45 rooms with balconies. They have all kinds of basic amenities that you need for staying 1 or 2 nights in this deep mountain area. All of the staff are local villagers and they are very friendly. In order to make your stay more comfortable, they carried many amenities to the hotel, such as wooden furniture, refrigerators, TV, water heaters, and even Belgian beers. It became one of the most popular hotels in Ping'an Village.

- Disadvantages: Due to the good location, comprehensive amenities and fine service, the hotel could be fully booked during the peak season. And the sound insulation of the wooden buildings is always not good (most of the wooden hotels in the village have this problem).

They have free WiFi, AC and heating, western style bathrooms and restaurant. With good service and facilities, it has become a popular hotel in recent years.

With the special local minority style decoration coupled with modern facilities, clients will be more comfortable while staying in the deep mountain area. There are many local restaurants nearby and the food in the hotel is also delicious. The mountain view from the room's balcony is very impressive.

Panorama House Hotel
Panorama House Hotel is located at the mountain top of Dazhai Village area in Longji Terraces Scenic Area. It is the hotel with the best view and facilities in this area. There is even an elevator in the hotel and nobody knows how they made it. It is a concrete construction with wooden decorations, so it won't be noisy if there is someone walking above. The hotel is the best spot to take photos of the sunrise. Getting there from the entrance of the Dazhai Village will take 1.5-2 hours walking up the stairs, and it can be a challenge for some visitors. But if you pay more car fee and get to the nearest parking (the end of the car way), it is about 30mins walk to the hotel.
