Hangzhou was the capital city of Southern Song Dynasty for 138 years after the emperor was forced by the enemy to abandon the northern capital. He then went all the way to the south and founded the capital in Hangzhou. That made a perfect combination of southern and northern culture there. You will view the concise and elegant porcelain, taste the authentic song style snacks, and feel the cultural atmosphere.

You will visit Hangzhou Southern Song Guan Kiln Museum which was the imperial porcelain kiln back then. It is the first porcelain themed museum built on the original place, with a deep historical cultural connotation. It is divided into three parts: the protection hall of ancient kiln sites, the exhibition hall of unearthed cultural relics, and the production area of traditional workshops.

You can stroll around the historical street area – He Fang Street, which was the center of culture and economy in Southern Song Dynasty. Some parts of the ancient stone path remain until today.

We will take you to a pavilion from where you can see the beautiful landscape of ancient Hangzhou. You can also climb to the top and see the beauty of lake and mountains.
