What to wear and bring

Early October
You can choose a breathable long-sleeved shirt or a thin knitted sweater, and pair them with a light cardigan or a denim jacket to deal with the slight coolness that may occur on overcast days. You can choose three-quarter, ankle-length or thin long pants. At the same time, carry a folding umbrella in case of sudden rainfall.

Mid-October
You can choose a long-sleeved cotton shirt or a slightly thicker sweatshirt for the inner layer, and a windproof jacket or a soft and comfortable cardigan for the outer layer. Pair the top wear with jeans to provide moderate warmth. It is suitable to wear low-top ankle boots and wear socks to increase warmth.

Late October
The weather gets cold in late October. Wear a breathable cotton shirt or a refreshing and thin sweater inside, and wear a sunscreen windbreaker or a light knit cardigan outside. Pants with breathable cotton and linen fabric underneath, or choose elegant long skirts with thin pantyhose inside to keep warm when it is slightly cold. You can wear flat sandals, canvas shoes or low-cut casual shoes in the weather without rain to ensure comfort and ventilation. Wear non-slip rain boots in rainy weather, carry umbrellas or portable raincoats when traveling.

Activities and Festivals

China's National Day is from October 1st to October 7th every year. During this period, Chongqing will hold a variety of activities, such as flag-raising ceremonies, fireworks shows, drone performances, comic exhibitions, auto shows, and flower-viewing activities. In addition, there are also rich cultural experience projects. For example, the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum has organized various forms of cultural activities during the National Day, including parent-child treasure hunt activities. Through these interactive experience activities, tourists can more truly feel the revolutionary historical culture.
