The Tongcheng Theatre was renovated and upgraded in July 2023. It has served as the largest stage for performances, providing venues for social group activities for decades, earning it with much credit for promoting traditional culture and developing Huangmei Opera culture.

The Huangmei Opera Hall is divided into two parts: the front area of the guild hall is a public-welfare art exhibition hall, displaying a large number of old photos related to Huangmei Opera, allowing audiences and tea-drinkers to get a preliminary understanding of the development history of Huangmei Opera. The center of the guild hall is the performance hall. On both sides of the medium-sized stage dedicated to performances, big red lanterns are hung, adding a festive atmosphere. The lobby draws on the art of ancient teahouses, with mahogany tables and chairs being solemn and elegant, and can accommodate more than 200 audiences at a time.

Drawing on the art of ancient teahouses, the viewing area is divided into two floors. The first-floor hall is close to the stage, enabling close-range appreciation of Huangmei Opera performances. On the second floor of the guild hall, there are three large private boxes with independent stands, from where the panoramic view of the stage can be seen, allowing the audience to experience the unique charm of Huangmei Opera from various angles.
