What to wear and bring

Early March
In early March, temperatures in Wuhan rose. Thermal underwear makes a great base layer for your travels. For outerwear, a down jacket or a thick overcoat could be recommended for those cold mornings and nights. During warm noon hours, you can remove the thick outer layer, and a lightweight sweater or a light jacket may be all you need. Long pants and good shoes suitable for long walks are very important for the trip. An umbrella or raincoat is highly recommended due to the chance of light rain. A scarf and gloves may also help protect you from the cold of those mornings.

Mid-March
Temperature starts to rise in mid-March. You can wear a long-sleeved shirt or a light sweater as a base layer. For the outer layer, a medium-weight jacket or windbreaker would be appropriate. In warmer weather, you can wear a light shirt by itself. Just wear a light coat in the early morning or when it's cold at night. Long pants are fine, and as it becomes warmer, thinner material pants may be worn. Always carry a mask in case of fog. Bring an umbrella in case of rain.

Late March
In late March, generally, wearing lightweight clothes should be enough for people. Suitable daytime attire would include T-shirts or short-sleeved shirts paired with lightweight long trousers or skirts, while light coats or shawls seem like a good option to keep warm during the early morning and at night. As temperatures will generally be high and there is a distinct possibility of rainfall, sun protection is essential. Therefore, sun protection cream or lotion is advisable. Also, when it rains, an umbrella or raincoat is necessary.
