Early November
Though temperatures usually begin to drop in Wuhan after October, they're still mild. It is better to wear light clothing, such as thin sweaters or jackets, to adjust to the temperature during the day. Since cold fronts do occur in November, you are advised to bring warm clothing: sweaters and jackets.
Mid-November
In mid-November, Wuhan is usually cool in the morning and evening, while it becomes warm at noon if the sun is strong. Wearing a normal sweater would do or one could opt for a windbreaker. If one has a weak constitution, one could add a thin coat or cardigan.
Late November
For outerwear in late November, you can choose a wool coat, a thick wool cardigan, a slightly thicker sweater, a wool dress, a leather jacket, or a medium-thick fleece jacket. For innerwear, you can wear a base shirt, a long-sleeved shirt, a long-sleeved thin sweater, or other medium-thick clothing. For the lower body, you can choose autumn corduroy pants, skirts, or just thick jeans.
Wuhan is in late autumn in November, and you can enjoy some seasonal attractions when you come to Wuhan at this time. For example, the reed marshes at Hankou River Beach are already a famous autumn viewing spot in Wuhan. A large area of reed marshes swaying in the wind is like a white ocean, always attracting many people to take pictures, and there are also many newlyweds who come here to take wedding photos. The viewing time of the reed marshes is longer than that of red leaves and ginkgo, generally from the end of October to the end of November.
