What to wear and bring
Early April
It gets hot in early April, and the maximum temperature stays at 31℃/87.8℉ continuously in the early days. The level of ultraviolet radiation is very high, and so it is necessary to take precautions. When you go out, you can wear cool clothing, such as short sleeves, shorts or a short dress. You could wear cool footwear such as sandals or cloth shoes. You should also bring a hat, light long-sleeved shirt and sunscreen creams if you go out.
It’s usually cloudy during the Qingming Festival. It can be breezy, and the highest temperature is usually about 20℃/68℉. It’s suitable to go outside for sweeping the tombs. And you will need to wear short sleeves as well as light long sleeves.
Mid-April
The weather situation is similar to early April, although the maximum temperature may decline by 2 or 3 degrees. Short sleeves and shorts are suitable, but at the same time, don’t forget to protect against ultraviolet radiation.
Late April
In late April, it might rain for a couple of days. You will need to add some clothing to keep warm, and carry a umbrella when you go out. After it rains, the temperature begins to rise, and stays around 28℃/82.4℉.
