Xi'an has four distinct seasons. Spring and autumn (March to May and September to November) are the best times to travel. The weather is cool and pleasant, suitable for outdoor activities. However, please note that there are many tourists during holidays such as the National Day holiday, so it is recommended to plan and book tickets and accommodation in advance.
Some must-try dishes include roujiamo (Chinese meat sandwich), yangrou paomo (mutton soup with torn bread), liangpi (cold noodles), biangbiang noodles, and youpo mian (noodles with chili oil).
It's recommended to choose accommodation based on your budget and itinerary. Areas like the city center, around Big Wild Goose Pagoda, or near the ancient city wall are convenient for sightseeing.
